Our Values

Healthy cats aren't luck - they're intentional. We prioritize the long-term health of every cat through careful, selective breeding, genetic testing (HCM, SMA, PKDef), proper nutrition, and natural support, clean, low-stress environment.

At Green Mountain Maine Coons, we raise our kittens the way nature intended—right in our home, with gentle hands, steady care, and plenty of love. We keep things pure and simple: no chemicals, no shortcuts, no filters. Just appropriate nutrition to support the vibrant, thriving cats from the inside out. , whole-food nutrition, and a nurturing environment from day one.

Our kittens grow up surrounded by the rhythms of a real family—soft voices, safe routines, and calm energy. This foundation helps them develop into strong, centered, and well-balanced cats who carry both health and heart into their new homes.

Our Commitment

At Green Mountain Maine Coons, we believe these remarkable cats are more than companions, they are a reflection of strength, beauty and intentional breeding. Every kitten we raised is guided by a deep respect for the breed, for nature, and for the families who welcome them home.

Our Adoption Process

We thoughtfully place our kittens into their new homes at 14 weeks of age. This extended time allows each kitten to develop proper social skills with litter mates, build confidence and emotional stability, receive important early care and observation, and transition more smoothly into family life. We believe this extra time makes a lasting difference, resulting in kittens that are more balanced, resilient, and ready to thrive in their new homes.
